History
Joan Martí Casademont founded the Jardinería Martí company in 1968. Until then, he had worked in farming and he used his skills to make Jardinería Martí a benchmark company in the early years of the sector when he set up in Vilabertran.
In 1969 Mª Carmen Palagós Marull opened Floristería Martí at Carrer Álvarez de Castro in Figueres, in order to cover the growing demand for floristry and flower arrangement services.
In 1972 Joan Martí Casademont’s son Joan Martí Palagós joined the firm.
n 1973, the company moved to the town of Vila-sacra, on a piece of land adjoining the road to Rosas, where we still operate today.
In 1979 Mª Teresa Bruñol Simon, the wife of Joan Martí Palagós, opened a second flower shop at Carrer Vilafant in Figueres.
Enric Martí Bruñol joined the family company in 2005.
EIn 2011 Joan Martí Bruñol joined the company as head of administration.
Today, almost 50 years after our beginnings, we offer our customers experience and professionalism with the same enthusiasm we had when we started out way back in 1968.
